 To help you, as one hoar-collector who has played this adrenaline-pumping game for years, I've decided to share some of my tips and tricks on how to manage the endless gathering.

 The three main pain points I see in inventory control can be addressed by a tri-pronged method.

 Oh, no! My inventory's all full

 It's possible that you've recently returned from a raid. However, your inventory has become full and you are unable to accept any more materials from Scrappy. It's possible that you completed a cool quest but can't access it because of your full inventory. Your inventory may be full and you won't be able to access a Free Loadout.

 You're probably not paying much attention to what's in your inventory. But scrolling the huge grid of icons to find all of your items might be a chore. You don't have to worry, because we can fix this mess by following a few simple instructions.

 First, manage your inventory stacks

 Arc Raiders isn't very efficient in clearing your inventory. While the game is criticized by some for its AI, Arc Raiders' inventory isn’t particularly intelligent or automated.

 Take Shotgun ammo. There's a grid with icons for stacks. Twenty shells can be stacked in one icon. If you want to stack more, the number of shells per stack is limited to 20. It isn't uncommon to find stacks below the 20-count limit taking up multiple grid slots. If you have a 20-count stack, a 12-count stack and a 2-count stack in your inventory grid then that would take up three spaces. Inefficient!

 The only thing you need to do is click on the "Merge Stacks", button, next to sorting options. It would be cool if your stash automatically did this.

 Step 2: Sell recyclables

 If your inventory has overflowed because you tend to collect every single thing that you see, then you may have valuables in it you need rid of. I'm amazed at how often a random valuable, like a cassette tape of music, a rubber duck, a set of rosary bracelets, is just sitting there in the Misc. category.

 The inventory system of Arc Raiders has failed us again. Arc Raiders’ inventory system is failing us again. Not all recyclables or sellables are meant to be thrown away. Pillows can be sold as valuables. But you'll also need these to upgrade Scrappy the Workshop. You'll want to keep track of the crafting projects that you're involved in so you don’t accidentally sell any items.

 You can do the same thing by going to the Crafting Submenu and recycling any items you no longer need. You may find that some of the items you are destroying will be used for Workshop upgrades. Sometime, clearing out a few camera lens, candle holders or radios is enough to create space.

 Step three: Repairing and upgrading existing gear

 The same gear shouldn't be duplicated in your inventory. Guns and shields for example have durability meters you need to maintain. Guns can also be upgraded in order to enhance their functionality.

 To start reducing the amount of space you have in your inventory, take care of these things. Repair existing shields. Make sure that your guns are upgraded to their highest level of durability. I recommend creating weapon mods to be applied as soon possible.

 By maintaining your current inventory, you will likely reduce the total amount of craftables in your arsenal.

 Bonus tip with a cheat-sheet: Craft quick use items and bring them with.

 I'd like to repeat the tip from before, but recommend you spend some time making things such as noisemakers, doorblockers, and smoke bombs. Crafting these items is not only fun but also takes up materials. Taking them with you will free up your inventory.
